Happy Birthday Julie

The phone has been going crazy today with everyone calling to wish Julie a happy b-day. I run to the phone thinking it’s a customer only to find out it’s someone else wanting to talk to Julie. Thanks to everyone who has called today. It has really made her day.

We are also looking forward to celebrating Julie’s birthday this weekend with our friends and family. I plan to take Julie and our girls out to eat tonight and then we will have lunch with my family tomorrow. My mother and sister will be cooking so I am sure that will be a treat. After lunch we will meet up with some of our best friends. They are having a party for Julie at their house in Lake Park tomorrow night. We are so blessed to have such wonderful family relationships and friends that would give you the shirt off of their back. Happy birthday Julie and thanks again to everyone who has made her day special.

Can anyone guess Julie’s age? I took the shot below about a month ago at Tybee Island during a wedding. Doesn’t she look gorgeous.

Big Brother — Eiluj, Do you remember from when were growing up that your birthday was on the first day of school a few times? Not to rub it in or anything, but I never once had to go to school on my birthday. OK OK... I know, at least yours is not 4 days after Christmas! But hey there is nothing that sucks about being born, no matter what time of the year it was! I don't know if I have ever told you this, but my first memory of you was at Mema and Pa's house. Mama had you lying on the dining room table there on the back porch and she uncovered you to check your naval. Your umbillical cord had not yet fallen off. I remember it like it was yesterday, and I was only 3 years old, almost 4. Happy Birthday, little sister! I love you, and I am so sorry that I could not be there to celebrate with our family tonight. I am taking 15 hours this semester, and I had to have some projects completed and submitted before midnight tonight. I should graduate next May. 21 years and I will finally be done! Yoo hoooo!!!!
