We would like to congratulate Susanna Dover and Justin Martin. We submitted this portrait of them into a photography competition held by Southern Wedding Style Magazine and it won first prize. This photo was taken at Alcyone Plantation during their rehearsal dinner Friday night. You can read more on the Wedding Style Magazine’s Blog.
When we heard about the competition we knew this couple would be perfect for the shot. The magazine was looking for a southern bride or wedding related setting with the magazine incorporated into the shot. Susanna and Justin’s rehearsal dinner had a Kentucky Derby theme – oh so southern! Thanks you guys for being such great models!

Jamie Bird-Alcyone Plantation — Congratulations on the winning photograph! But we are not surprised one bit! You all are wonderful photographers and a pleasure to work with! We enjoyed this past weekend and look forward to many more! This was the perfect picture of Susanna and Justin........how much more southern can you get? Everything from the mint juleps, Derby weekend, to the amazing display of roses............the details were over the top! I especially love the photo taken in the swing. It was my grandfather's. Nothing better than sippin' a mint julep and swingin' with the one you love. It doesn't get any better than that! Except having you both there to capture the moment! Way to go Jeff and Julie!
