For me this shot creates a lot of emotion that I have a hard time explaining, but I’ll do my best to tell you why. Most importantly, Lee is someone who risks his life to protect my family and yours as he does his job everyday. Even as our political leaders struggle in Washington right now, you can feel safe knowing that we have great men and women like Lee still watching out for us. And, if you had the opportunity to spend a day with him as I did, you would feel good knowing that you can trust him to do the right thing when difficult situations arise.

I also love the light coming through the tall windows here and how it creates such a powerful image. Makes you wonder what he is thinking in light of our country at war and just before he sees his beautiful bride, Sarah.
