As photographers in the wedding business, we usually get to take a breather around the first of the year. February is usually one of our few chances to vacation. Fortunately, the school system has a Winter break during this month as well. So this year, our mission was to find some snow. Well, little did we know that we could have stayed home and it would have found us! However, I’m pretty sure it wouldn’t have looked anything like this.
The cabin we stayed in belongs to a friend of ours and was absolutely perfect. It had a game room for the kids with a pool table, air hockey, fireplace, and sitting area with Halle’s favorite item….a TV! The cabin also has a hot tub out on the screened porch, which was pretty relaxing to be in the steamy water with snow falling all around you. (Images available upon request)…NOT! The main floor has a cozy fireplace with great lodge decor and a most beautiful view. There is also a loft master suite. Waking up to see the sun rise through the picture windows was amazing.
The name of the cabin we stayed in was Endless View.
Halle is now seven years old. She loves hamming it up for the camera as you will notice in just about all of her pictures.
Hannah is ten years old here.
As we were walking into this cozy restaurant to eat lunch a very nice lady offered to take a picture of the four of us. After a quick lesson on how to hold the camera, focus, and fire it off, we had a rare family portrait made. We were so impressed that she actually managed to get us in focus and not cut our feet or heads off. WOW.
We purchased tickets to Stone Mountain’s Snow Mountain just in case we didn’t find snow on our trip. It would have been a lot more impressive had we not almost been snowed in at the cabin and seen all the snow we wanted already.
Jeff and Julie are an amazing team. They are seamless and so behind the scenes that when you finally see your images you think to yourself “WOW, they actually caught that moment.” For my husband and I, photography was THE MOST IMPORTANT vendor, thus once I saw their magnificent work I hired them first before anyone else. They both really understand light and composition so your photographs come out looking even more fabulous than you feel on your wedding day. I had no doubt they would provide me with phenomenal photographs, but their customer service is excellent as well. My husband and I have received so many compliments on our photos from both family and friends alike. I would highly recommend them to any bride, anywhere.

We photographed Kimberly and Kenny’s gorgeous Atlanta wedding at Twelve Atlantic Station about a year ago. Just recently we were contacted by The Knot Magazine to submit images from their wedding. Kimberly and Kenny have a fantastic eye for design and it showed in the details of their featured article. They also chose a team of wedding vendors that were dedicated to making an awesome day for the couple. Congratulations to the bride and groom and to all who were involved in making this such a successful event.
