We shot Susan and Deepak’s wedding about a month ago starting on Friday night with the Sangeet. This is an Indian celebration that precedes the wedding day. It was great having the opportunity to shoot such a beautiful and colorful event.

Saturday’s events included an Indian and a Western wedding ceremony. I think Susan must have changed her wedding attire about 3 times.

The Reception was an amazing display. The floral design by Doug Carter was outstanding. Great job Doug! This event was catered by Covington’s of Valdosta. Their presentation was also over the top. We know there must have been many more involved in helping create such a memorable day for Susan and Deepak. For example, the other catering companies, dancers, bands, DJ’s, and tent companies. If anyone remembers the names of everyone else involved please leave a comment and let us know. Everyone did an outstanding job. Julie and I were honored to be a part of Susan and Deepak’s wedding events.
We are pretty sure this was the most attended wedding we’ve seen so far and we see a lot of weddings. To have this many friends and family at your wedding really says something for Scott and Kelly. Maybe someone can respond and let us know how many peolple were actually there. The ceremony was at the First Baptist Church in Valdosta, Georgia which is always a beautiful place to have a wedding. We also love working with the wedding director Mrs. Cathy Harrison. She keeps everything running smooth throughout the day.
The reception was at the Valdosta Country Club, which is a perfect venue for a party of this size. We were very impressed with the band as well, but can’t recall thier name. I don’t believe they were local. Maybe someone can reply with that information too! Your interaction with us through the blog is always appreciated. Feel free to leave any comments you would like.

We understand from the church and the reception that there were over 700 people in attendance. How blessed we are to see Scott and Kelly loved by so many. Thank you so much for capturing this wonderful day.
God Bless

It’s really about capturing the emotions and presenting the story in a flattering manner. That’s where a lot of photojournalists fall short. They capture the day, but it’s just not flattering. You guys are the best.
Unbelievable color. Great Photoshop work Jeffry.
